This website is designed and maintained by Aston University on behalf of Task 34 of the IEA Bioenergy Agreement through the Implementing Agreement on Bioenergy, which forms part of a programme of international energy technology collaboration undertaken under the auspices of the International Energy Agency.

Technical Tasks

There are a number of technical task areas covered by Task 34 which are described in more detail in the following pages.

The Pyrolysis Task bid for a three year project to commence in January 2010, in parallel with other new tasks in IEA Bioenergy, was approved by the IEA Bioenergy ExCo with membership including US, Finland, Germany, Canada and the UK.
